Meet Our Team
Victoria
Founder, Director & Support Worker
Hi, I’m Victoria! I’m currently studying Speech Pathology, which comes from a genuine place in my heart. I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and confident, and I knew I wanted to make a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
RISE Adelaide was created from that same passion, to build a space where individuals and families feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Watching this grow within our community has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m so grateful to be part of each person’s journey.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me getting my 10k steps in, or at the gym, spending quality time with my family, or pouring my heart into new ideas to make RISE even better for the incredible people we support.
Tia
Support Worker
Hi, I’m Tia! I love to stay active, so in my free time you’ll usually find me at the gym. I am currently studying Speech Pathology, driven by a passion I’ve had since I was young to work in a field where I can support others to grow, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
I love support work because it allows me to build genuine relationships with people and celebrate their achievements, no matter how big or small.
I’m energetic, extroverted, and always happy to help. Clients would describe me as bubbly, positive, and someone who is always up for anything and loves to have fun.
Rykiah
Support Worker
Hi, I’m Rykiah! I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work and planning on transferring into Honours because I’m really passionate about helping people feel supported and understood, especially young people and families. In my spare time, I love playing basketball, going to the gym, swimming, grabbing a sweet treat, and pretty much always being with friends. I love support work because every day is different, and it’s really rewarding seeing clients happy and confident.
I’d say I’m friendly, easygoing, empathetic, patient, positive, and really adaptive, so I can get along with anyone. A client would probably say I’m supportive, empowering, and encouraging, and that I help bring out their best selves while always making things fun and comfortable.
Danila
Support Worker
Hi, I’m Danila! In my spare time, I honestly love to sleep. It’s probably my favourite thing to do. I’m not studying right now, but if I was, I’d choose physiotherapy because I’m passionate about the body and helping people improve their quality of life.
What I love most about support work is making people feel happy and supported. It’s rewarding, and it leaves me feeling good about myself after every shift. I’d describe myself as outgoing, independent, eager, and persistent.
A client would probably say I’m kind, reliable, easy to talk to, and someone who genuinely cares about their wellbeing.
Amelia
Support Worker
Hi, I’m Amelia! In my spare time, I love shopping with my friends, watching movies, and being at home with my dog. I am a uni student studying teaching who never stops talking. I also love to meet new people. I’m passionate about helping young people learn, which is why I love support work because it gives me the ability to make a positive impact in someone’s life.
To me, being a good support worker means building genuine connections with clients and helping them grow and reach their goals. If I asked my friends and family to describe me in three words, they would say I’m funny, confident, and compassionate.
